An isle of arran elopement

Kate & Oli love the Isle of Arran, so it was only right that they got married there! Kate enquired with me last year for their wedding day on the mainland and subtly mentioned their Arran ceremony a few days before their wedding and i absolutely jumped at the opportunity, Arran being one of my own favourite places, the thought of going over for "work" was so exciting to me. So, ferries were booked, batteries were charged, cameras were packed and off we went!

Kate and Oli had their ceremony at the Isle of Arran registry office, located in Lamlash, with their parents with them to witness the day and celebrate with them. The ceremony was so intimate, emotional and full of love. We then headed outside to throw some confetti and take some family photos in front of arguably the best registry office view in the world.

I then headed further along the road in Lamlash with Kate and Oli and their beloved Land Rover to take some couples photos along the cost featuring the Land Rover of course, and without sounding incredibly biased, these photos are so good!

Despite my ferry home being cancelled and ending up with an unexpected 3 hour drive home, i had the absolute best day with Kate, Oli and their parents. This wedding truly reminded me of how ridiculously lucky i am call this my job, i meet so many amazing people in my couples and their friends and family and i genuinely enjoy spending time with them all capturing one of the happiest days of their lives. A real pinch me moment!
